Teton County is looking to fill a full-time Misdemeanor Probation Officer position. The role involves developing individualized case management plans for offenders, conducting risk and needs assessments, and advocating for court recommendations regarding custody or release.
The officer will also perform field work, including home and site visits, and administer urinalysis drug tests. This position reports to the Probation Director and is under the direction of the Board of County Commissioners and Magistrate Judge.
The hourly pay range for the position is $23.00 to $25.00. Teton County offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a retirement plan with 401(k) options, paid time off, flexible scheduling, and an Employee Assistance Program.
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, a valid Idaho Driver's License, meeting IDAPA and POST Certification standards, and being at least 21 years old.
