At 438 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 13 miles south of Vernal, moving northeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation and outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include... Naples and Randlett.

This includes U.S. Highway 40 in Utah between mile markers 133 and 134, and between mile markers 149 and 169.
