MILWAUKIE, Ore. — Jean Descamps, 26, died in December 2023 from an overdose shortly after his discharge from Providence Milwaukie Hospital. Milwaukie Police Department body camera footage shows Descamps in a hospital bed in the emergency room at the time.
The footage, released by the Milwaukie Police Department, shows Descamps during his time at the hospital. Officials did not specify the exact time frame between his discharge and his death. Authorities stated Descamps died from drugs already in his system.
