Schedule An Appointment through USPS for passport services. The appointment scheduling system allows users to: 1) Choose a service type including New Passport Only, New Passport with Photo Services, Passport Renewal, Digital Photo Services Only, or Hard Copy Photo Services Only. Users specify the number of adults and minors under 16 years old. 2) Search for appointments by location or date. Users enter city/state or ZIP code and select a radius (1-100 miles) to find the 5 closest Post Office locations providing passport services. Appointments can be searched up to 4 weeks in advance, excluding holidays. 3) Select a time from available appointments. Each appointment takes approximately 15 minutes per person. Users are instructed to arrive 10 minutes early. 4) Provide contact information including first name, last name, phone number, and email address. Users choose a verification method (text message or email) to receive a verification code for identity confirmation. 5) Review and confirm appointment details before finalizing. Important notes: Users must complete and print their passport application form before applying at https://pptform.state.gov. Passport Renewal appointments cannot be booked online; eligible users must renew by mail or online through the State Department. USPS Digital Photo Services are available at many locations and comply with US Department of State regulations. The Department of State charges additional fees for Passport Books and/or Cards as well as processing fees beyond USPS charges. If unable to verify identity online after multiple attempts, users must visit a USPS location with passport walk-in hours. The system processes personal information according to 39 U.S.C. 401, 403, and 404 and uses it to schedule appointments and prevent fraudulent transactions.
