Valparaiso University Class of 2025: 98.1% Job Placement
Valparaiso University's class of 2025 achieved a 98.1% placement rate, with graduates employed or enrolled in graduate school within nine months of graduation. The rate outpaces the 2024 national average of 86% from the National Association of Colleges and Employers.
The College of Engineering maintained a 100% placement rate for the fourth consecutive year, with graduates earning an average starting salary of $80,122. The College of Business reported a 98% placement rate with average starting salaries of $62,688, while the College of Nursing and Health Professions posted 97.9% with average salaries of $71,562. The College of Arts and Sciences achieved 97.5%, with average salaries of $51,234. Christ College, the university's honors college, and student-athletes each achieved 98.1% placement.
"These rates reflect the quality of our programs and the dedication of our faculty, staff, and students," said Eric Johnson, provost and executive vice president for academic affairs.
The 2026 commencement will include separate ceremonies at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., both streaming live on the Valparaiso University YouTube channel.
