Ichabod Crane School District Budget Vote & Election May 19

Ichabod Crane Central School District residents will vote on the 2026-27 school budget and elect Board of Education members on May 19, 2026. Polls open at 8 a.m. and close at 9 p.m. at the High School Gymnasium.

U.S. citizens at least 18 years old who have lived in the district for 30 days before the vote may participate. Voters must register by May 14, 2026.

Residents who voted in a district or general election as a district resident within the past four years remain registered. Others can register with District Clerk Mindy Potts at Central Office, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., or through the County Board of Elections.

The district offers absentee and early mail ballots for residents unable to vote in person. Applications for mailed ballots must reach the District Clerk's office by 4 p.m. on May 12. Applications for in-person ballot delivery must arrive by 4 p.m. on May 18. Completed ballots must arrive at the District Clerk's office no later than 5 p.m. on May 19.
