Naomi Jean "Jeannie" Crawford, 92 year old retired school teacher, passed from this life Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at her home in Frisco, TX.Naomi Jean, better known as Jeannie, was born December 1, 1933 in Cleora, OK to George Thomas and Margarite Elizabeth (Landrum) Brewster.Jeannie was a graduate of Cleora High School, Cleora, OK, N.E.O. A.&M. College in Miami, OK and Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, OK.  She had lived in Frisco, TX for the past 14 years, moving from Cleora, OK.Jeannie taught school for 25 years in Grove, OK and Miami, OK Public School Systems.  She was also a faithful church member and taught Sunday School classes for many years.  She was a member of Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano, TX and the Oklahoma Retired Teacher's Association.She was preceded in death by 1 son, Jerry Loyd Crawford, her parents, George and Margarite Brewster, 3 brothers, Bill Brewster, Leroy Brewster and Jack Brewster and 6 sisters, Wanna Beech, Lena Jackson, Ina Harrison, Oleta Barnes, Louella Palmer and Peggy Johnson.Jeannie is survived by her husband of 73 years, Rev. Loyd Crawford of the home, 1 son, John Crawford and his wife Tricia of Flower Mound, TX, 1 daughter, Nancy Jean Crawford of Frisco, TX, daughter-in-law, Mary Crawford of Dallas, TX, 9 grandchildren, Traci Moilanen and husband Trek of Plano, TX, Shanda White of Springfield, MO, Kristin Morris and husband John of Springfield, MO, Caitlin Crawford of Dallas, TX, Courtney Kell and husband Levi of Mustang, OK, Kendyl Coffee and husband Clayton of Celina, OK, David Crawford and wife Abby of Rochester, MN, Matthew Crawford and wife Hannah of Norman, TX and Katy Crawford of Indianapolis, IN and 17 great-grandchildren.Services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 6, 2026 at Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami, OK with David Loyd Crawford officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home.
