Troy Mayor Ethan Baker Joins U.S. Conference of Mayors

Troy Mayor Ethan Baker has been appointed to the Advisory Board of the U.S. Conference of Mayors, an organization representing over 1,400 cities with populations of 30,000 or more.
Baker joins seven other mayors selected during the conference's 92nd annual meeting in Kansas City, Missouri. He will help shape the organization's agenda on urban policy issues brought before Congress and the President. The appointment complements his existing role on the conference's Technology and Innovation Standing Committee.
"I am very honored to be chosen by fellow mayors to serve on the advisory board," Baker said. "I look forward to sharing Troy's experiences and best practices with other cities throughout Michigan and the United States."
The other new advisory board members are: Mayor Lacey Beatty of Beaverton, Oregon; Mayor Barbara Buffaloe of Columbia, Missouri; Mayor Daniel Rickenmann of Columbia, South Carolina; Mayor Arunan Arulampalam of Hartford, Connecticut; Mayor Chris Jensen of Noblesville, Indiana; Mayor D.C. Reeves of Pensacola, Florida; and Mayor Heidi Lueb of Tigard, Oregon.
