A message from our Chief.
On behalf of the Dumfries-Triangle Volunteer Fire Department and the Firefighters, EMTs, and Administrative Support Personnel, I thank you for your support of the Dumfries-Triangle Volunteer Fire Department. As Fire Chief, I am pleased to tell you a little about what we do for our community and about our funding needs.
Our Firefighters and EMTs stand ready to provide assistance at a moment's notice to anyone who calls. We operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, with 100% volunteers, and provide fire, rescue, and emergency medical services for our community. Last year alone, we responded to over 3000 calls for service. We serve the Triangle, Dumfries, and Prince William County communities. We are a combination department meaning we have both volunteer and career staff to serve our community.
We want to thank you for your continued support as we help our community. The Dumfries-Triangle Volunteer Fire Department is supported by donations from the local citizens and by Prince William County. All donations are used to purchase the equipment and supplies necessary to perform life-saving work in our community. In addition, donations are utilized for facility and apparatus maintenance and to ensure our members are properly trained.
We provide you with this opportunity to continue your support of our Fire and EMS services. Your financial gift is extremely important to us, and we depend on your support to continue our efforts of protecting the community. Please consider a donation to your local volunteer Fire and EMS department.
Thank You and Be Safe,
Kevin F. Dillard
