Treasure Island Structure Fire: A Developing Situation

Emergency crews are currently on scene battling a structure fire in Treasure Island, with initial reports indicating a sole engine company dispatched to the location. This is what we know so far.

As of 15-20 minutes after the initial dispatch, there has been no new information released publicly regarding the cause of the fire, potential injuries, or the extent of the damage. Web searches for additional news coverage or official statements have yielded no results at this time.

The initial emergency response involved Engine 2 (E2) being dispatched to the scene. The deployment of a single engine company in the initial dispatch may suggest that first responders did not immediately identify the incident as a major blaze, or that additional units are being staged or are en route.
