Folks from all over the state are attending and we are hoping for a significant turn-out.At the beginning of the protest members of the clergy and people of faith will be part of a 5 -10 minute presentation (one speaker and one song). We would like as many people as we can gather to hold tombstones with the names of people who have died in ICE custody. WE NEED YOU! We have over 70 'tombstones' to carry. The ask: Show up at the gazebo at Taylor Park between 11:30 and 12. Hang out until 12 and then take a short walk with one of the cardboard tombstones to help us display the names of the deceased. Then return the tombstone to the gazebo. This is an EASY WAY to have an important roll in this event. People of all faiths and people of faith and spirituality outside the familiar are all welcome to participate!Feel free to email questions to Susan McMillan [email protected]. Please show up. Please bring a friend. Please be a part of the resistance. ________________Outreach Ministry Team Volunteer SurveyThe Outreach Ministry Team would like to deepen our community connection through exploring where the members of our congregation volunteer outside of CSCC.
