Martin County Launches Online Contract Portal for Public Access

Martin County residents can now view current contracts with county vendors through a new online portal. The OpenGov portal, launched recently, aims to increase transparency in the county's contracting processes.

The portal allows the public to access contract documents, bid tabulations and award notices. This initiative provides accessible information about the county's financial dealings and vendor relationships.

In addition to contracts managed directly by Martin County, the portal includes information on cooperative purchasing contracts. These are agreements established through state and national organizations, and other Florida government agencies, which the county uses to gain bulk purchasing power and streamline procurement.

Residents can find the "Search County Contracts" portal on the county's official website. For grant funding reports for a specific agency, the county directs individuals to submit a Public Records Request.

The county encourages residents to use this new resource to stay informed about how taxpayer money is allocated and which businesses partner with the Martin County government.
