Jupiter is accepting year-round nominations for residents, volunteers, and business owners whose work in the past six months has strengthened the community.
The Hometown Heroes program recognizes contributions in six areas: kindness toward neighbors, public safety improvements, environmental stewardship of parks and waterways, youth mentorship, cultural and historical preservation, and solutions to community problems.
Honorees receive recognition at a Town Council meeting and feature on the town's website and social media. The town reviews nominations within weeks of receipt.
Residents can nominate candidates online through the town's website or call 561-741-2347 for assistance. All nominations become public records under Florida law.
