Wind Advisory Issued for Our Area Until Monday Morning

A Wind Advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service in Grand Junction, Colorado, effective immediately until Monday, October 12, 2026, at 6:00 AM MDT. Residents in the Paradox Valley/Lower Dolores River and Four Corners/Upper Dolores River areas in Colorado, and Arches/Grand Flat, Canyonlands/Natural Bridges, and Southeast Utah are advised to exercise caution.

South winds are expected to reach speeds of 20 to 30 mph, with gusts up to 50 mph. These strong winds can make driving difficult, particularly for high-profile vehicles. Unsecured objects may be blown around, tree limbs could be brought down, and isolated power outages are possible.
