Prudential Stainless & Alloys Relocates to Tarboro, Creating 30 Jobs
Prudential Stainless & Alloys will relocate its operations from New Jersey to a warehouse in Tarboro's Industrial Park, creating 30 jobs and investing $8.4 million.
The company distributes stainless steel, nickel alloy, aluminum pipe, tube, and bar to customers worldwide. Prudential maintains one of the industry's largest inventories of these materials.
The company will occupy a shell building the town developed to attract manufacturing and distribution operations. Town Manager Troy Lewis said the investment demonstrates Tarboro's ability to attract growth and provide employment opportunities.
The 30 positions will expand Tarboro's industrial workforce. Prudential's global distribution network means the Tarboro facility will serve customers beyond North Carolina.
