USF Theatre Presents 9 to 5 The Musical in Tampa

The University of South Florida School of Theatre and Dance closes its SPOTLIGHT series with "9 to 5 The Musical," running April 17-27 in Theatre 1 on the Tampa campus.

Director Christopher Marshall stages the 2009 Broadway adaptation of the 1979 film, which follows three female office workers who kidnap their sexist boss and reform their workplace. Dolly Parton composed the music and lyrics for the stage version, which she also starred in as the original film's lead.

Tickets cost $25 for adults and $20 for students, seniors, and USF faculty and staff. Purchase tickets online or at the box office.
