Aerosmith fans may have reason to celebrate. The legendary rock band, which announced its retirement from touring in August 2024, posted a cryptic video on Monday, October 5, hinting at upcoming performances.
The video features frontman Steven Tyler and band photographer Ross Halfin outside the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. Tyler is seen arranging letters on the venue's marquee to spell out “Aerosmith & Friends” alongside the dates October 29 and November 1. The band's official website also displays this teaser.
The potential performances mark a significant shift, as Aerosmith has not played a full concert since September 2023. Their planned "Peace Out" farewell tour, launched that year, was cut short after only three shows due to Tyler's vocal cord damage and fractured larynx.
Guitarist Joe Perry had previously discussed the band members' desire for one more show, saying they were eager to get back on stage.
