Residents in the Melville Foothills should prepare for severe winter conditions, as a Winter Storm Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service in Billings, MT. The warning is in effect from midnight tonight, October 10th, until noon MDT on Monday, October 12th.
Periods of heavy wet snow and blowing snow are expected, with total snow accumulations between 5 and 10 inches. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph, creating difficult travel conditions on US-191 and local roads in the Melville vicinity.
