Shamokin Street Sweeping Schedule Announced

Residents of Shamokin are reminded to move their vehicles to allow for effective street sweeping during the week of May 6th. The City of Shamokin has released its schedule to ensure streets are cleaned thoroughly.

The street sweeping operations will begin on Monday, May 6th, focusing on the west side of Market Street. On Tuesday, May 7th, the sweeper will move to the east side of Market Street.

The schedule continues on Wednesday, May 8th, with cleaning on the west side of Shamokin Street. Thursday, May 9th, will see the sweeper on the east side of Shamokin Street. Finally, on Friday, May 10th, the street sweeper will address various side streets throughout the city.

Residents are urged to pay close attention to the daily schedule and ensure their vehicles are not obstructing the path of the street sweeper. This proactive measure helps the city maintain clean and safe roadways for everyone.
