NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Mount Dora, Florida, intends to adopt the following-entitled Ordinance: ORDINANCE 2024-16 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MOUNT DORA, FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 10 "LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS," ARTICLE VI, "SUPPLEMENTAL REGULATIONS," SECTION 10-6.7, "VACATION RENTALS," OF THE CITY OF MOUNT DORA CODE OF ORDINANCES, TO REVISE REGULATIONS APPLICABLE TO VACATION RENTALS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. A public hearing on this Ordinance will be held at City Hall, 510 N. Baker Street, Mount Dora, Florida, on July 2, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. Interested parties may appear at the meeting and be heard with respect to the proposed Ordinance. The Ordinance is available for inspection at the City Clerk's Office, City Hall, 510 N. Baker Street, Mount Dora, Florida, during regular business hours, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. All interested parties are invited to attend. In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, any person requiring special accommodations to participate in this hearing should contact the City Clerk's Office at (352) 735-7126 at least 48 hours prior to the meeting. If any person decides to appeal any decision made by the City Council with respect to any matter considered at this meeting, such person will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose, such person may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
