A Special Weather Statement has been issued for Door and Kewaunee counties until 5:30 AM CDT due to dense fog, potentially reducing visibility to 1/4 mile; drivers should allow extra time and increase following distances.
Door and Kewaunee county residents with early morning travel plans should prepare for areas of dense fog. The National Weather Service (NWS) in Green Bay has issued a Special Weather Statement effective until 5:30 AM CDT today, October 13, 2026.
Visibility may drop to 1/4 mile or less in some locations. The Sturgeon Bay Airport has already reported visibility as low as 1/4 mile.
If you are driving, allow extra time to reach your destination and maintain increased following distances between your vehicle and others. Visibilities are expected to improve around sunrise as winds shift to the northwest and increase.
