**Special Weather Statement issued September 17 at 1:12PM EDT by NWS Charleston WV**

At 111 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Winfield, moving southeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include... Winfield, Dunbar, Sissonville, Poca, Cross Lanes, and Bancroft.

This includes Interstate 77 in West Virginia between mile markers 112 and 117.
