PETERSBURG, FL (May 29, 2024) – Bayfront Health St. Petersburg has received multiple American Heart Association awards for its commitment to guideline adherence and quality improvement to improve cardiovascular health. Bayfront Health St. Petersburg received the following achievement awards: Get With The Guidelines® - Heart Failure Gold Plus Get With The Guidelines® - Stroke Gold Plus Target: Heart Failure Honor Roll Target: Stroke Honor Roll “Bayfront Health St. Petersburg is committed to improving care by adhering to the American Heart Association’s Get With The Guidelines® program,” said John Moore, President of Bayfront Health St. Petersburg. “The tools and resources provided help us track and measure our success in meeting evidenced-based clinical guidelines developed to improve patient outcomes.” Each year, the American Heart Association helps hospitals use the Get With The Guidelines programs to implement up-to-date, research-based guidelines to speed recovery and reduce death for heart failure and stroke patients.
