City Wide Clean Up Day set for May 4th

The City of Storm Lake announced it will host its annual City Wide Clean Up Day on Saturday, May 4th, 2024. Residents are encouraged to bring unwanted items to the City Maintenance Building, located at 525 W 17th St, for disposal.
Several items will incur a disposal fee. Tires can be brought for $4.00 each. Appliances containing freon, such as refrigerators, freezers, and air conditioning units, will cost $15.00 each to dispose of. Electronics will be accepted for a fee of $5.00 each.
This event provides an opportunity for residents to clear out clutter and dispose of items responsibly. The City Maintenance Building will serve as the central drop-off point for the day.
