At 11:55 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 5 miles northeast of Lakeside, approximately 5 miles east of Storm Lake, moving southeast at 40 mph. This storm is capable of producing quarter-sized hail, with damage to vehicles expected.
Areas expected to be impacted include Storm Lake, Lakeside, and Truesdale around 11:55 PM CDT, and Newell around 12:05 AM CDT.
