Escalon Water Treatment Plant Gets $3M State Grant

Staff Writer
June 12, 2026

The City of Escalon will use a $3 million state grant to replace aging equipment and expand capacity at its water treatment facility.

The State Water Resources Control Board awarded the funds to modernize infrastructure that has reached the end of its operational life. The upgrades will help the facility meet current water quality standards and serve Escalon's residential and commercial customers.

City officials have not announced a project timeline or specified which components will be replaced first.
