Mohave College Hosts Summer Professional Development Workshop for Teachers July 14-15 at Bullhead Campus

MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave College Corporate Education is hosting a summer continuing education workshop for teachers from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. July 14–15 in Building 200 at the Bullhead Campus, located at 3400 Hwy. 95. The two-day workshop is designed to help K–12 educators earn continuing education credits while gaining fresh inspiration, practical classroom strategies and meaningful connections with fellow educators from across Mohave County.Participants can choose from a variety of educator-focused sessions covering topics such as project-based learning, competency-based grading, effective assessment strategies, brain-based teaching and navigating difficult parent conversations with confidence. The workshop will also include sessions focused on educator wellness, including mindfulness and self-care, helping teachers recharge before the new school year begins.“Teachers are one of the most important investments we can make in the future of our communities, and this workshop was created directly from the feedback and needs shared by local educators.
