During the April 15, 2026, Board of Trustees meeting, the Board approved Resolution 26-34, declaring Stage 1 (moderate to severe) drought conditions and establishing mandatory water-use restrictions for Firestone's water customers. The restrictions take effect on April 16, 2026, and remain in place until the end of the year, unless lifted by the Board or water conditions improve. The Interim Town Manager is authorized to modify or rescind the restrictions as needed based on changing conditions.
