Assessor's Office Encourages Property Owners to Review 2023 Reappraisal Values

The Routt County Assessor’s Office is reminding property owners to review their 2023 Reappraisal values. Colorado law mandates that the Assessor revalue all county property every odd-numbered year. The Assessor’s Office was required to deliver Notices of Value to all property owners by May 1, 2023. These valuations are based on the market as of June 30, 2022.

Property owners who disagree with their assigned 2023 valuation have the right to protest. The deadline for submitting protests to the Assessor’s Office was June 8, 2023.
