Pass-A-Grille Gas Leak: What We Know So Far
A gas leak in St. Pete Beach's Pass-A-Grille area was repaired, residents were allowed back home and no injuries were reported, according to FOX 13 Tampa Bay.
According to FOX 13, TECO crews repaired the leak and the road reopened around 1 p.m. after the response near 28th Avenue and Pass A Grille Way.
Authorities said residents in the affected area were evacuated during the incident and later allowed to return to their homes, FOX 13 reported.
The response included a road closure in the area while crews worked, but available coverage did not report any ongoing hazard after repairs were completed and the scene reopened, according to FOX 13.
Dispatch records show 131 similar gas leak incidents in the past six months.
