5 Metrowest Detention Officers Sued for Excessive Force

Five correctional officers at the Metrowest Detention Center face a federal civil rights lawsuit alleging excessive force and failure to intervene.

Keomie Johnson, representing himself, filed the complaint in U.S. District Court in Miami on June 2, 2026. The case is docketed as Johnson v. Smith et al. (24-CV-24334-DSL).
