Flagler College Alumni Donate $25K to Women's Tennis
Brian and Michelle Wilson, Flagler College alumni, pledged $25,000 to support the college's Women's Tennis Program and to name the Jeri Wilson Women's Tennis Coach's Office at the Pollard Tennis Center.
Brian Wilson, a member of the Flagler College Board of Trustees since 2005, said the gift honors his mother's love of tennis. "As alums, Flagler College has always held a special place in our hearts, and we are proud to further our contributions to the Women's Tennis Program," he said.
The Pollard Tennis Center, dedicated in October 2025, features new locker rooms, coaches' offices, and study spaces for student-athletes. The women's tennis team has won four consecutive Peach Belt Conference titles. The men's team claimed three conference titles and reached the 2024 NCAA Division II National Championship match.
Jud Damon, Flagler's athletics director, said the gift will help coaches develop players and build a winning culture.
The Wilsons have also established two endowed scholarships for women's tennis. Brian Wilson's father was an early donor and served on the Board of Trustees from 1985 to 2017.
