St. Augustine Race Week 2026 Presented by the First Coast Sailing Association … St. Augustine Race Week is April 11-18, 2026.  Experience 8 days of multiple sailing events: Offshore Yacht Racing * Inshore yacht Racing * RS Aero Midwinter Championship * Youth Sailing Regatta * Award Ceremonies & Parties! Schedule  RS Aero Midwinter Championship — youth and adult sailors sail in the Matanzas Bay between the Castillo de San Marcos and the Bridge of Lions. Watch from the Bayfront! Saturday, April 11     —  12:00pm-4:00pm Sunday, April 12       —  10:30am-2:30pm Youth Sailing Regatta — youth sailors sail on the Salt Run. Saturday, April 11     —  12:00pm-4:00pm Sunday, April 12       —  10:30am-2:30pm Free Day — Monday, April 13 Inshore Racing — sailors race their yachts in the Tolomoto River, North of the Vilano Bridge. Treasure Island Hurricane Expo to Prepare Residents for Upcoming Season

The 2024 hurricane season remains fresh in everyone’s mind as many are still recovering from its impacts. It also serves as a reminder to always be prepared. Hurricane season runs from June 1 to November 30 and is quickly approaching. To help residents and business owners get ready, the City of Treasure Island is hosting a Hurricane Expo on Friday, April 17, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Treasure Island Community Center located at 1 Park Place and 106th Avenue. The event will feature a special presentation by Mike Clay, the Chief Meteorologist at Spectrum Bay News 9. He will share valuable insights into what to expect during this hurricane season and beyond. New this year, local mitigation partners will be available to provide education, information, and resources about storm protection and mitigation for homes, condos, mobile homes, and businesses. Join us to get your mitigation and restoration questions answered and see live demonstrations of flood and wind mitigation products. Additionally, city and county staff will deliver important presentations on storm response plans, evacuation procedures, and how residents and businesses can prepare before a storm hits. Attendees will receive essential safety and survival tips, flood insurance information, Red Cross resources, and more. Residents are encouraged to visit mytreasureisland.com/stormready to sign up for Alert Pinellas, check their evacuation zone, and gather storm preparation materials. Stay informed. Stay safe.
