Downtown Fort Myers Celebrates America's 250th With Two Days of Music, Art and Fireworks

Downtown Fort Myers hosts a two-day America 250 celebration July 3-4, featuring free concerts, an art walk, and a fireworks and drone show.

The festivities begin July 3 with an Art Walk from 5 to 9 p.m., showcasing work from more than 60 local and regional artists. That evening, three bands perform at the Caloosa Sound Amphitheater on the riverfront: School of Rock at 6:15 p.m., Listen to Her Heart (a Tom Petty tribute) at 7 p.m., and To the Limit (an Eagles tribute) from 8 to 9:30 p.m.

July 4 events begin at 7 p.m. with a patriotic opening ceremony at the amphitheater, followed by a concert from Deb & The Dynamics and a fireworks and drone show over downtown.

All events are free. Parking information is available at denisonparking.com/ft-myers. More details: explorefortmyers.com.
