"Walton County Emergency Management invites you to the inaugural 2025 Build a Bucket Event in honor of National Preparedness Month. This free, family-friendly event is designed to help residents get prepared before a storm while enjoying a day of fun, food, and community connection. Activities include building your own disaster kit, a touch-a-truck experience, live fire extinguisher demonstrations, raffles, live music, food trucks, and activities for all ages. Stop the Bleed training will also be offered for participants ages 16 and older, capped at 30 people, with pre-registration required at bit.ly/StopTheBleedTrainingRegistration.
