Hernando County residents with unpaid court-related fees, fines, or costs may soon face collection efforts. As of Florida Statute 28.246(6), balances outstanding for 90 days will be sent to one of three contracted collection agencies.

A 25% collection fee will be added to any balance referred to an agency. These agencies can contact individuals by phone, mail, text message, or email to collect debts.

Residents receiving a notification should contact their assigned agency directly to arrange payment. The contracted agencies are:

  • Linebarger, Goggan, Blair & Sampson, LLP: 1-866-234-9790
  • Perdue, Brandon, Fielder, Collins & Mott LLP: 1-888-703-5315
  • Penn Credit Corporation: 1-800-900-1380

Each agency also offers information and payment options on its website, accessible by clicking the agency's name.

Payments for referred cases can be made through the Pasco County Clerk & Comptroller's office at pascoclerk.com/846 or directly to the assigned collection agency. The collection notice will specify which agency is handling the account.
