Spring Hill Summer Tutoring for Students | Local News
Spring Hill students entering third through seventh grade can enhance their academic skills this summer through the new Small Group Tutoring Program. The program aims to build students' confidence, strengthen core subjects and maintain academic momentum between school years.
The enrichment program combines small-group instruction with engaging, hands-on learning activities. Sessions are available for students aged 8 to 12 in both math and writing.
Math tutoring sessions meet three times per week:
- Mondays, 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
- Wednesdays, 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
- Fridays, 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Writing sessions also cater to students aged 8 to 12 and are scheduled as follows:
- Mondays, 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.
- Wednesdays, 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.
- Fridays, 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.
The program costs $85 per child for each subject.
Parents and guardians interested in enrolling students must complete a registration form. The form requires parent/guardian name, student name and age, contact information (email and phone number), and address. Participants can select math, writing or both. Parents should note any special instructions for the student on the form.
The program emphasizes a supportive learning environment to help students improve their skills and enjoy the learning process.
