The Pasco County Clerk & Comptroller's Office has launched its first strategic plan to guide operations and improve service delivery. The plan outlines the office's mission, vision, and values.
Clerk Nikki Alvarez-Sowles initiated the strategic planning process on July 1, 2019. She asked frontline staff to identify service improvement opportunities based on their daily interactions with residents. The executive team then held sessions to assess the office's strengths and weaknesses, incorporating feedback from customers who use its services for property records and county budgets.
The plan includes a framework for tracking and reviewing results, allowing the Clerk & Comptroller's Office to focus resources on specific objectives and its commitment to '#ServeAndConnect.' This initiative establishes a roadmap for future growth and accountability.
