The Hernando County Sheriff's Office (HCSO) provides residents online access to arrest and offense reports, along with civil data, through its Records Section homepage.
The HCSO also offers a searchable database of Florida Department of Law Enforcement Sex Offender and Predator records. Residents can view a map of registered sex offenders and predators in their neighborhoods. These databases exclude records deemed confidential by Florida public records laws. For records predating October 1, 1995, a formal records request is required.
Residents can review arrests made by the HCSO by date, with quick links for October 3, October 2, October 1, September 30, September 29, September 28, and September 27. Searches can be refined by first or last name. The HCSO jail search page provides access to all arrests booked into the Hernando County Jail.
Offense reports are available for review by date range, with similar quick date options. Searches can also be conducted by street name. A list of individuals served with civil papers within the last three days is accessible via the civil data section, though a processing delay may affect its completeness. A name search function is also available for civil papers served.
