COLUMBIA, S.C. -- Athletes from across South Carolina are descending on Spring Valley High School for the 2026 SCHSL state track and field championships, set for May 14-16. The event splits across Columbia-area venues, with Class 5A Division 1 and Class 3A competitions at Spring Valley on Thursday and Friday at 5 p.m., respectively. Class 4A runs simultaneously at nearby Richland Northeast High School, building excitement for Saturday's 9 a.m. finals including 5A Division 2 and Class 1A.
