**Special Weather Statement issued September 21 at 3:30PM PDT by NWS Hanford CA**

At 329 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Yosemite South Entrance, moving southwest at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include... Yosemite South Entrance, Chilkoot Meadow, Fish Camp, Poison Ridge, Buck Camp Ranger Station, and Mariposa Grove.
