Toms River Winter Storm Warning: Feb 22-24

Toms River will face significant snow accumulation starting Saturday, February 22, through Monday afternoon, February 24, 2026. The township has activated its Emergency Operations Center and mobilized plowing crews and outside contractors to clear streets throughout the township.

Residents must move vehicles off streets before snow begins. Township ordinance requires this during snow emergencies to allow plowing crews unobstructed access and to ensure emergency vehicles can reach homes and businesses.

The township will delay garbage and recycling collections scheduled for Monday, February 24. All collections that week will shift one day later.
