Anchoring the country music wave, ND Country Fest returns to New Salem's Morton County Fairgrounds July 8-11, 2026, featuring headliners Darius Rucker, Nate Smith, Billy Currington and Terri Clark, with tickets starting at $172. Nearby, Buckaroo Country Music hits West Fargo's Essentia Health Plaza August 28-29, 2026, promising two nights of acts under the lights. These events, just 25 minutes west of Bismarck and in the Red River Valley, are drawing regional crowds and amplifying the state's reputation as a music destination.

Polka fans head to Hankinson June 7-8 for Polka Fest, where bands like Matt Hodek’s Dakota Dutchmen and Barefoot Becky & the Ivanhoe Dutchmen perform daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on dual dance floors at the new Hankinson Community Center.
