Residents of Southeast St. Tammany, particularly in Slidell, face an immediate and extreme Storm Surge Warning issued by the National Weather Service (NWS) New Orleans LA as of October 8 at 4:03 AM CDT. Life-threatening storm surge flooding of 3-5 feet above ground is possible from Friday morning until Saturday morning.
