The Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued for Plymouth and Sioux Counties in Iowa has been allowed to expire as of 12:00 AM CDT, October 9th. The National Weather Service (NWS) Sioux Falls SD confirmed that the storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe limits and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property.

While the severe threat has passed, residents in Plymouth and Sioux Counties should be aware that small hail is still possible with lingering thunderstorm activity.
