Montrose County Board of Commissioners PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given that the Montrose County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. in the BOCC Meeting Room at the Montrose County Courthouse, located at 320 South 1st Street in Montrose, Colorado, to consider the following: Conditional Use Permit application submitted by Montrose Solar, LLC, requesting approval to construct and operate a solar energy generation facility on property owned by Steve and Pamela Schmidt, located at 6745 6275 Road, Montrose, CO. The project is located on approximately 154 acres of a 333-acre parcel. The parcel is described as a portion of the NW4 Section 28, Township 49 North, Range 10 West, N.M.P.M. Montrose County, Colorado. The project is located within the Agricultural (A) zone district. The proposed Conditional Use is a Solar Energy Generation Facility, as defined in Section 4.1.5 of the Montrose County Land Use Code.
