* At 440 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 11 miles east of Monticello, moving east at 15 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include... Rock House, Alamosa Canyon, Elephant Butte Lake, and South Monticello Campground.

This includes Interstate 25 in New Mexico between mile markers 86 and 97.
