Shelbyville Parks & Recreation Center offers diverse amenities

The City of Shelbyville Parks & Recreation Department provides residents access to eight city parks and the Shelbyville Recreation Center, located within the sprawling H.V. Griffin Park. The department offers memberships that grant access to exercise classes, pools, basketball courts, a fitness center, and senior programs.

Outside the recreation center, patrons can enjoy 84 acres of amenities including sports fields, tennis courts, batting cages, a disc golf course, a skate park, playgrounds, and pavilions, all within easy reach for families across Shelbyville, from the historic downtown area to neighborhoods near the Duck River.
