Available Positions Openings The city is currently seeking members for the following Boards and Committees. If you are interested in serving on an Advisory Board or Committee, please contact the City Clerk’s office. The Planning Commission has 2 alternate seat opening. The following are some details:  2 and 3-year terms – Without compensation  Must be a resident of the City of Haines City. The Lakes Advisory Board has 1 alternate seat open.  3-year term - Without compensation The CRA has 2 vacant seats.  4-year terms - without compensation These seats are appointed by the city commission. They ensure these appointments align with the community's needs and represent diverse perspectives.
