Orlando residents have an ongoing opportunity to support their neighbors through the work of One Heart for Women and Children. The local organization consistently provides food, services, and housing assistance across the community.

One Heart for Women and Children regularly packs and distributes hundreds of bags of food each week at various locations throughout Orlando. Beyond food assistance, the organization operates a Thrift Shop and works to connect individuals with essential services and housing options.

Stephanie Bowman, who has served as the director of One Heart for Women and Children for twenty years, recently highlighted the organization's efforts. Bowman spoke at 1U in March, detailing the many ways One Heart supports the community.
